Zambia-The Real Africa
AATS allows flexibility to match each mission field's diversity, but at the same time there are common needs throughout Africa.
The goal is to provide the best possible curriculum and program, thus giving students the tools and knowledge necessary to meet the challenges of ministry. They will be a part of the team working together in reaching our world.
The development of AATS is due to the vision of men like Brother James Poitras (Ghana) who has been a leader in the development of the program. His efforts are deeply appreciated.

Word Aflame Bible College
Word Aflame Bible College
Word Aflame Bible College of UPCZ is located in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia, Africa.
The Bible College is a two year course of theological training, and offers practical courses of study to prepare students for the future. The purpose of the school is to equip young men and women with a strong foundation in the scriptures and a burden for evangelism. Then they are sent forth into pastoral ministry or as lay ministers in local churches.
Missionaries cannot learn all the languages, cultures and traditions within their countries. That is why Bible College is a tremendous tool used on the mission field. The Apostle Paul instructed Timothy, "And the things that thou hast heard,... the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also".
In August 2007, there were seventeen graduates.
Purpose of Bible School Training:
To equip and train God-called men and women to effectively accomplish Apostolic ministry.
a. To help the student develop a spiritual relationship with God.
b. To indoctrinate (instruct) in Biblical doctrine.
c. To train and motivate in evangelism.
d. To facilitate development of leadership skills.
Word Aflame Bible College has worked diligently to meet the requirements and has been accepted into Africa Association of Theological Studies(ATTS). This is a positive step for the college.
Objectives of AATS:
Preserving the Message. To nurture a faith community and a center of life-long learning to preserve Apostolic doctrine for generations to come. To equip ministers to continue steadfastly in the Apostles' doctrine and to defend it within their cultural context.
Providing the Methods. To explore the needs of a diverse and ever-changing society, and develop innovative print and non-print training and learning resources that are relevant to a cross-cultural environment.
Producing the Ministry. To prepare spirit-filled, spirit-empowered, and spirit-directed students for excellence in apostolic ministry.
Propagating the Mission. To train and motivate students to possess a vision for, and to participate in, global evangelism - preaching and teaching the whole Gospel to the whole world. To cultivate leadership in order to facilitate and sustain the harvest the Lord continues to give His Church.
